About our posters
In the spirit of getting people involved, we approach a different designer or image-maker to produce the promotional poster for each month's event – meaning the night has amassed a legacy of lovingly designed promotional material, including posters, badges and stickers, by some of the most in-demand image-makers working today.
So far contributors include Build, Anthony Burrill, Jon Burgerman, Ali Graham, Richard Hogg, Intercity, Jeremyville, James Joyce (One Fine Day), Kate Moross, Peskimo, Ian Stevenson, Lucy Vigrass, Roo Walton and more...
Images created specially for our posters have subsequently appeared in various publications including The Pictoplasma Character Encyclopaedia (Pictoplasma, 2006), Jeremyville Sessions (IdN, 2007) and Airside's 2007 calendar. The maraca-weilding monster Peskimo conceived to appear on the Get Involved poster they designed in 2006, now exists as one of their BambooZoo toys, created in collaboration with Kidrobot. Amazing!
